Sheikh Nahyan bin Mubarak Al Nahyan announced the campaign during a significant gathering at the Abu Dhabi Energy Centre, attended by over 4,800 people, including citizens, residents, students, investors, academics, and business leaders.
The campaign underscores President Sheikh Mohamed’s contributions to the UAE’s national development and is rooted in four core principles: fostering unity and coexistence, drawing inspiration from leadership values, bolstering civic responsibility and national identity, and expressing gratitude for the UAE’s prosperity and stability. Following its launch, the initiative expanded its reach online through a dedicated website and QR code, enabling widespread digital participation across the nation. Organizers plan to sustain the campaign through collaborations with companies, universities, and community organizations, alongside multilingual online engagement and public events.
This campaign emerges after a period marked by national solidarity in response to regional security tensions earlier this year. Public displays of patriotism have surged, with UAE flags prominently displayed at homes, offices, and public buildings. This wave of national pride follows calls from Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum to celebrate the country’s resilience and unity.
Participants who join the pledge digitally receive a downloadable certificate of appreciation, acknowledging their commitment. The pledge itself is a testament to the leadership of President Sheikh Mohamed, praising him as a guardian of the nation’s security, a promoter of progress, and a paragon of dedication and service to the country.
