The United Arab Emirates is bracing for sweltering summer temperatures in the coming days, with forecasts indicating that inland areas could experience heat as intense as 48°C. Meteorologists predict that the weather across the nation will largely remain stable, characterized by clear skies and light to moderate breezes, with minimal likelihood of significant weather disturbances.
On Friday, thermometers in inland regions are expected to register between 44°C and 48°C, while coastal and island locales could see temperatures ranging from 36°C to 43°C. In the mountainous areas, temperatures are forecast to be slightly cooler, ranging from 32°C to 39°C. Winds are anticipated to blow from the southwest to northwest at speeds between 10 to 20 kph, occasionally reaching up to 30 kph. The seas in the Arabian Gulf and the Sea of Oman are expected to remain calm.
This hot and clear weather pattern is expected to persist through the weekend. On Saturday morning, low clouds might form along parts of the eastern coast, and winds could pick up, potentially reaching speeds of up to 40 kph. A minor dip in temperatures is projected for Sunday as more active northwesterly winds are expected. The Arabian Gulf could experience rougher conditions at times, although the Sea of Oman is predicted to remain in a slight to moderate state.
As the new week begins, similar weather conditions are anticipated for Monday and Tuesday. Fair skies will dominate, with the possibility of occasional morning clouds along the eastern coast and periods of brisk winds. Sea conditions are expected to gradually improve early in the week. Meteorologists have indicated that the UAE is entering a phase typical of early-summer weather, marked by extremely hot daytime temperatures, clear skies, and generally stable atmospheric conditions.
