The UAE Urban Search and Rescue team has once again achieved the highest international rating awarded by the International Search and Rescue Advisory Group (INSARAG), an entity affiliated with the United Nations. This marks the third time the team, part of the Abu Dhabi Civil Defence Authority, has received the prestigious “heavy” classification, highlighting its consistent excellence in emergency preparedness and disaster response.
President Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan extended his congratulations to the team, commending their professionalism, dedication, and readiness to tackle crises. He emphasized that this recognition not only underscores the UAE’s commitment to humanitarian values but also enhances the nation’s global reputation in disaster management.

The ceremony celebrating this accomplishment was held at Qasr Al Bahr Palace and attended by distinguished figures, including Sheikh Khaled bin Mohamed, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi, along with other senior officials and guests.
