Temperatures in the United Arab Emirates (UAE) are forecasted to reach up to 46°C in some inland areas on Saturday, with high humidity contributing to the formation of fog or mist during the overnight and early morning hours. This pattern is expected to continue through the weekend, particularly affecting coastal and inland regions.
The National Center of Meteorology has reported that weather conditions will generally be fair to partly cloudy, accompanied by light to moderate winds. Inland areas can expect temperatures ranging from 41°C to 46°C, while coastal areas and islands will likely see temperatures between 36°C and 41°C. In mountainous regions, temperatures are anticipated to range from 29°C to 35°C.
Humidity levels could rise to as high as 95% in certain areas, significantly increasing the potential for reduced visibility due to fog or mist from late Saturday into Sunday morning. These conditions are expected to persist into the upcoming week, with similar weather patterns anticipated.
Starting Monday afternoon, the eastern parts of the UAE may experience increased cloud development, with the possibility of convective clouds forming. Fog or mist could also recur during overnight and early morning hours through Wednesday and Thursday.
Occasional wind strengthening is expected, reaching up to 35 km/h, although sea conditions are predicted to remain generally slight, with some periods of moderate to rough conditions in the Sea of Oman.
