Rain, Dust, and Strong Winds Predicted to Hit UAE

Published:

Over the next two days, the United Arab Emirates is bracing for more rainfall, dusty conditions, and strong winds, with gusts potentially reaching up to 45 kilometers per hour. The National Centre of Meteorology has issued predictions for these weather changes, which are expected to primarily impact the eastern and western regions of the country. Areas around Fujairah and Al Ain are likely to see rain and the development of convective clouds.

While these areas prepare for unsettled weather, Dubai and Abu Dhabi are anticipated to remain largely dry. However, motorists across the country are advised to exercise caution as blowing dust could significantly hinder visibility on the roads. The authorities have urged drivers to be particularly careful in areas where dust storms might occur.

Despite the forecasted weather disturbances, temperatures in the UAE are expected to stay remarkably high. Abu Dhabi might experience temperatures soaring to 46 degrees Celsius, while Dubai could see the mercury rise to 45 degrees Celsius. The area of Al Quaa, in particular, is predicted to reach a scorching 49 degrees Celsius over the weekend.

The weather conditions underscore the variability often experienced in the UAE, where intense heat can coincide with sudden bouts of rain and wind. Residents and travelers in the affected areas should remain vigilant and stay updated on weather advisories to ensure their safety during this period of unpredictable weather.
